Device diagnostics & metric availability
Connection subscribes to measurements only. If the trainer shows only Bluetooth and ski icons, try Resume trainer. This requests FTMS control and starts/resumes the console workout; it does not reset counters or change resistance. Acknowledgement confirms the command, not the display state.
Resistance is displayed only when broadcast by the trainer. Drag factor is unavailable in standard FTMS Rower Data; it requires a verified proprietary field or flywheel data. Unknown values are never estimated. The belt is the source of heart rate.
No Bluetooth packets received.

WORKOUT BUILDER
Workout settings
Targets are guidance. Adjust the resistance lever manually. Heart-rate response can lag behind effort.
SETTINGS
Training settings
Save the heart-rate and power ranges used for workout targets and live zone feedback.
TRAINING ZONES
Heart-rate and power ranges
Enter your own inclusive zone boundaries in bpm and watts. On finishing an edit, intersecting neighboring boundaries adjust automatically. Initial values are examples, not personalized recommendations. Saving zones rebuilds the workout targets.
Colors follow Garmin’s five-zone HR display. Hover or focus a zone label for lactate guidance from Olympiatoppen; these are reference values, not individual targets.
TEST CALIBRATION
References and test history
FTP reference: Not measured. Lactate-derived reference: Not measured. Completed live FTP tests with at least 90% power coverage update the reference and proportional power zones automatically. Demo and incomplete tests are logged without changing your settings. Initial scaling uses the existing FTP reference, or zone 4’s upper power boundary if none exists. Lactate tests use cubic Dmax and final-minute stage HR to rescale HR zones; initial HR scaling uses zone 4’s upper boundary. Dmax estimates do not overwrite FTP.
Automatic lactate analysis requires all readings, at least five completed stages lasting three minutes each, ≥90% stage power coverage and ≥90% final-minute HR coverage. Non-monotonic, flat or poor-fit curves require manual review. Enter or correct late readings after finishing; analysis reruns when you leave the field. Dmax method reference.
